Hello to all. This is just our ever growing web site dedicated to what we like to do. That would be Halloween. From building our props to our yearly display. Why we do it to such a scale has been asked many times before. Ever since I was a little boy Halloween has been my favorite time of year. Back then it was just a couple of simple melted plastic pumpkin and witches that my mother would hang from the window. And my father would always come up with some sort of cool costume he would build for me. It was always just the thought that we all got to go run in the night air to collect candy and see who had the best decorated house. I guess when you're that young there is a special magic that you feel on Halloween night. Most of the magic lives in the little ones and it was up to the adults to help bring that magic out. In today's world it's hard for the little ones to have any sort of magic. T V, internet, video games and everything else there is comes at them so fast it's hard just to be a kid. So now that I am ever so much more than 30 I try to do what I can for the little ones on Halloween night. I guess I have the wisdom of an older person combined with some of the magic that the little ones have. These 2 things together have helped build the Burrhill Bone-Yard. It started very simply with a small graveyard I built for my little Boneman. Tyler, my youngest son is a huge inspiration and help to me. With out him most of this would not happen. Then it just grew along with our skills. This is my way of giving the tots a place where the magic lives. A place where they can come and be safe from the world but not from the monsters. A place where what they imagine in there minds comes to life. Please take your time and look around our site. There is a lot going on from our past to the future. Follow the links to see our haunt and our props. Lots of pictures and video. 2008 will be our biggest year ever and we are off to a great start.
I have to send out a few huge thank yous. To my wife. You're my rock. Thank you very much for putting up with my insanity. To Nick and Brianna (my 2 teenagers) Even though you guys play it cool when I show you a new prop I can see in your eye's what you think. To Tyler, My little monster. Without you most of this would not happen. You help keep the magic in daddy. Right now you have no idea what that means but some day you will.
To the folks at Halloweenforum.
You guys are a great help and a wealth of information.
We love to talk with other haunters. If you have any questions about our site or need more info on one of our props, or would just like to say hey. Use the link below to drop us a line. The site gets updated about once every couple weeks. Bookmark us if you like and check back often and thanks for stopping by.
Welcome to the Burrhill Bone Yard. We are in full swing for 2008. Some of what we built can be found on the 2008 page. We will be having a contest this year. It will be 20 questions about the haunt. The person with the most right will receive a full size standing prop. I would love to update the site more, but being so close to our time for set up it is just to hard to do. I do have a new page of our newest creation. Please welcome our Coffin Cruiser. Pics and video can be found on it's page. We look forward to seeing everyone this year and we have a lot of new stuff in store for you all.
